Beverly Zorn Livingston
Funeral service for Beverly Zorn Livingston, 77, of Columbia will be held 2:30 o’clock Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Taylor Evangelical Methodist Church, with The Rev. William C. Cloer officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 o’clock Saturday afternoon at Shives Funeral Home.
Mrs. Livingston, widow of William W. Livingston, Sr., died Wednesday, January 3, 2008. Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late David Zorn and Mildred Bowen Zorn. She worked at Columbia Christian School as a kindergarten teacher and then founded the Busy Beaver Day Care, a Christian childcare center that she owned for 14 years. Mrs. Livingston also worked at Hartman Hall and North Trenholm Baptist Church childcare. She enjoyed traveling in her retirement.
Survivors include her children, William W. “Billy” (Kay) Livingston, Jr. of Lexington, Linda C. (Michael) Holland, Audrey (Bo) Reep, and David Livingston, all of Columbia; Tim Livingston of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Josh, Shannon, Coy, Kendra, Andrew and Justin; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob and McKenzie; sister, Anne Miller of Chicago, Ill.; sister-in-law, Kaye Zorn of Idaho Fall, Idaho; two nieces and three nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, David Zorn, Jr.
Mother, we will always love you. You will never be forgotten. We will miss you always. Thank you for being a Christian mother.
