Bernard Everett Branham

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. –

Mr. Bernard E. Branham, of Hephzibah, died on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at his residence. He was 80 years old. Mr. Branham’s family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2007 at The Poteet Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, 706-798-8886. The graveside service, with military honors, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 836 Pine Grove Road, near Lugoff, South Carolina.

Mr. Branham was a Veteran of the United States Navy and also retired from The United States Army. The Honor Guard from Ft. Jackson, South Carolina will serve as pallbearers at the service.

Mr. Branham was preceded in death by his wife of more than 44 years, Mrs. Etskuko Y. Branham. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Linder Team Branham and Mary E Hoath Branham; and his brothers, Linder Team Branham, Jr. and Alfred T. Branham.

After retirement from the Army, he worked as an Electrician at Guilford Mills.

Survivors are his daughters, Carol B. Hendrix and her husband, George and Jo-Ann Williams and her husband, Tommy; his son, Bernard E. Branham Jr. and his wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Jaime W. Milford and her husband, Ryan, Brooke Hendrix, Lexie Johnson, Parker McFeely, Allie Hendrix, and Page Etskuko Branham; sisters, Anna-May Snyder, Mary-Alice Mills; brothers, Jack Branham and Oscar Branham.

The Poteet Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, 706-798-8886, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
