ELGIN – Funeral services for Mary K. Armstrong Ragan, 73, of Elgin will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM in Blaney Baptist Church, Elgin, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Blaney Baptist church. Mrs. Ragan died Friday, April 22, 2005. Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. Armstrong and Cora B. Meyers Armstrong. She had retired from Civil Service at Fort Jackson having worked in Finance and Accounting.
Surviving are her husband, William E. “Bill” Ragan; daughters, Cheryl Ray of Elgin and Rebecca South of Lugoff; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Marshall Armstrong of Gaithersburg, MD.
She was predeceased by sisters, Poline Clark, Anna Scott, Helen Kirby, Edith Poole, Ruth Maugans; brothers, Clarence Armstrong, John Armstrong and George Armstrong.
