Dorothy Eula Jane Goff Bachman, 76, of Lexington, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004. An area resident for the past 57 years, Mrs. Bachman was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving were her husband of 56 years, Wesley T. Bachman of Lexington; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay Ann and Wilmot Smith, Bonnie Driggers Atwood and James Atwood, all of Lexington; son and daughter-in-law, Steve W. and Georgetta Bachman of Lexington; sister, Betty Ruth Miller; brothers, Harley Goff, Aussie Goff, Dallas “Bill” Goff, Gary Goff, Jr.; grandchildren, Westy Smith, Dena Driggers Mixon, Jessica Bachman, Michelle Bachman, and Colton Bachman.
Mrs. Bachman was predeceased by her sister, Alberta McKinney; sons, Donnie W. Bachman and Michael T. Bachman; and son-in-law, Andrew Driggers.
Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, October 9, 2004 in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, Elgin, with burial in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-9pm Friday, October 8, 2004 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church.
