Thomas Clayter Campbell and Hazel P. Campbell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 27.

A reception was held at Millbrook Baptist Church, given by their son, Tom, and his wife, Shelby, along with her children, Walt and Amy Dunaway.

They were married June 27, 1954, in Gaffney and have resided in Aiken for 50 years. She was formerly Hazel Peeler from Gaffney, and Thomas was from Blaney. Both were employed by Du Pont and retired with Westinghouse at the Savannah River Plant after careers that lasted more than 39 years. They have enjoyed traveling in the Continental USA, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Europe, Australia and the most recent trip to England in March.
