Lillie Chrosia Spradley Wylie

WAGENER — Services for Mrs. Lillie Chrosia Sharpe Wylie, 83, of 1192 Perron Garvin Road, will be Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at 4 p.m. in the Berlin Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Thomason officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family request that memorials be made to the Berlin Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 190, Wagener, SC, 29164.

Mrs. Lillie entered into rest Sunday, April 18, 2004, after a long illness.

She was a member of Berlin Baptist Church and a member of the senior adult Sunday school class. Mrs. Lillie was born in Kershaw County to the late Alfred James Spradley and Clara Lovette Spradley. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Spradley.

Mrs. Lillie is survived by four sons, Charles R. Sharpe and wife Linda of Wagener, Robert L. Sharpe and wife Janie of Abilene, Texas, Billy Joe Sharpe and wife Mary of Hilda, and Melvin E. Sharpe of Salley; daughter, Clydie Ann Sharpe of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters, Eva Branham, Donna Davis, Lois Peake, Louise Poff, Leathea Watts, and Jean Martin, and two brothers, Clyde Spradley and David Spradley; and numerous nephews, nieces and great-nieces.

Active pallbearers will be Duane Heyward, Charles Sharpe II, Joe Sharpe, Thomas Sharpe, Chris Nates, Kenny Nates, Randy Sharpe and Cliff Galentine. Honorary pallbearers will be the senior adult Sunday school class. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Blizzard Funeral Home, 153 South Main St., Wagener.


On March 3, 2020, Lillie Sharpe was mentioned as the deceased sister in the obituary of Lois Elaine Spradley Peake.


On April 16, 2002, Chrosia Sharpe was mentioned as the deceased sister in the obituary of Cpt. Herman David “Dave” Spradley.
