Kathy Sue Mangum Baskins was born April 28, 1954, a daughter of the late Charlie William Mangum and Mary Kathleen Brannon Mangum

Kathy Sue Mangum Baskins, 49, of Cassatt, died Friday, December 12, 2003 in Kershaw County Medical Center.

Mrs. Baskins was a member of Shamrock Baptist Church.

Surviving were her husband, Ernest R. Baskins of Cassatt; a son, Christopher R. Mangum of Patrick; two daughters, Kristina L. (Nelson) Turner of Camden, and Heather Nicole Baskins of Cassatt; two brothers, Charlie W. “Billy” (Faye) Mangum Jr. and James E. Mangum both of Bethune; a sister, Betty M. (Olin) Small of Bethune; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie E. Mangum.

Arrangements were entrusted to Cauthen Funeral Home.

A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2003 from Lakeshore Drive Church of God with the Revs. Burch Kelly and Donnie Barrett officiating. Burial was in Baskins Eternal Gardens.
