ELGIN – Services for Cranshaw Branham Sr., 82, will be held at 2 p.m., today, April 24, 2003, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Branham died Tuesday, April 22, 2003. Born in Blaney he was a son of the late, Lawrence Branham and Annie Sharpe Branham. He was a self-employed electrician, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Surviving were his wife of 61 years, Juanita Nelson Branham; children, Ruth Branham, Lucy Cansler, Otis Branham and his wife, Sylvia, Cranshaw Branham Jr., Sarah Riley and her husband, Bobby, all of Elgin, Clara Fenton and her husband, Larry, of Camden; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great- granddaughter. He was predeceased by brothers, Willie Branham, Mack Branham and Brooks Branham; granddaughter, Kelley Cansler; two infant sons.
