Olive Bryan McCaskill Oppenlander


Olive Bryan McCaskill Oppenlander was born July 6, 1919 in Blaney, the daughter of Thomas Murdock McCaskill  and Ada Irene Maddox McCaskill.

LEXINGTON -Services for Olive Bryan McCaskill Oppenlander, 84, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2003 at Eau Claire Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Flynn Harrell and the Reverend James Goudelock. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Oppenlander, widow of Robert M. Oppenlander, died Friday, February 7, 2003. Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Murdock McCaskill  and Ada Irene Maddox McCaskill and stepmother, Pearl K. McCaskill. She was a former, longtime member of Eau Claire Baptist Church and Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Kings Daughters, Columbia Chapter. Mrs. Oppenlander was secretary to the Dean of Students at Columbia College and also worked in the medical and legal professions.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Margy O. McCall.
