Opal Brown Moore was born July 24, 1937 in Blaney, South Carolina, a daughter of Glenn Elmore Brown and Laura Heath Brown.

On January 16, 1972, Mrs. Opal Moore was listed as a living daughter in the obituary of Glenn E. Brown.

On March 3, 1992, Opal Moore was listed as a living sister in the obituary of Christine Brown Maner.

ELGIN – Services for Opal Brown Moore, 65, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. George Cashwell and Keith Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge. Memorials may be made to Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 2290 Heath Pond Road, Elgin, SC 29045.

Mrs. Moore died August 3, 2002. Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late G.E. Brown and Laura Heath Brown. Mrs. Moore was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Robin M. (Keith) Willoughby of Laurens; granddaughters, Bethany and Michaela Kate Willoughby; grandson, Zechariah Willoughby; sisters and brother-in-law, Juanita Jordan of Lugoff, Jake Moak (Denny Moak) of Elgin; sisters-in-law, Mary Brown of Lugoff, Ruth Brown of Elgin.

She was predeceased by sister, Christine B. Maner; brothers, Ledford Brown, Leroy Brown.
