LUGOFF – Services for Albert James Jordan, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2001 at the Lugoff Church of God with burial in Highway Pentecostal Church Cemetery on Health Pond Road. The Rev. Raymond L. Sellers and the Rev. Joe Grice and the Rev. Tim Shirley will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Gene Jordan, Dean Jordan, Randy Jordan, Curtis Baker, James Blizzard, Jimmy Painter. Memorials may be made to the Men’s Fellowship of Lugoff Church of God, P. P. Box 5604, Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29260. Kornegay Funeral Home. Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge.

Mr. Jordan, twin brother of the late Alvin W. Jordan, died Friday, March 23, 2001 at 2:16 p.m. at Kershaw County Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1929 to O. C. Jordan of Lugoff and the late Almead Barnes Jordan. Albert served eight years in the U. S. Navy. He was retired from DuPont Guard Force and was a member of Lugoff Church of God.

Surviving are his daughters, Penny Ann Jordan Baker of Camden, Vanessa Jordan Smith of Lexington, Deborah Jordan Jacobs of Daphne, Alabama. Tina Jordan Boan of Camden and Loretta Jordan Mixon of Kingsport, Tennessee. 11 grandchildren; sister, Voncille Goff of Elgin. Mary Campbell Haldeman of Lugoff.
