ELGIN – Miss Tanya Renee Jones of Elgin and Brian Clay Sawyers of Patrick Springs, Va., were married June 3, at Blaney Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Lawrence C. Dennis performed the 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Columbia Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jones of Elgin. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sawyers of Galax, Va.
