Born March 23, 1916 in Blaney, he was a son of the late John David Goff and Nannie Ross Goff.
1920 Census Information:
According to the 1920 United States Census recorded on January 8, 1920; Dave Goff (46) owned a farm in Wateree Township in Kershaw County, with whom he shared with his wife, Nannie Goff (44), Also in home were their children; Anderson Goff (21), Pearl Goff (9), Pluma Goff (15), Eva Goff (13), Jim Goff (11), Iola Goff (8), Thurston Goff (6), Otis Goff (4) and a servant, Jesse Rix (20) . All of the household members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Dave was a farmer on a general farm, Anderson was a labor on the famer and Jesse Rix worked in the home with the family.

1999
Paul Otis Goff, 83, of Elgin died Monday, June 28, 1999.
Born March 23, 1916 in Blaney, he was a son of the late John David Goff and Nannie Ross Goff. He was a farmer merchant and retired from Columbia Products. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a member of Blaney Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn M. Goff; daughters, Sandra Goff Jones of Elgin; son, Byron Goff of Camden; granddaughter, Tanya Renee Jones of Elgin; grandsons, Ryan Edward Jones of Fairfax, Va., Brandon David Goff of Camden; brother, Thurston Edward Goff of Elgin.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 1999 at Blaney Baptist church with Rev. Lawrence Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Kornegay Funeral Home Lugoff Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Blaney Baptist Church Building Fund, 1400 Blaney Rd., Elgin, 29045. Kornegay Funeral Home is in charge.
