1940 Census Information

According to the United States census reported on April 6, 1940, Edward Harnsby (28) rented a home in Wateree Township, Kershaw County, South Carolina with his wife, Sadie Harnsby (28), and children; Willie Mae Harnsby (11) and W F Harnsby (5). All family members were born in South Carolina and lived in the same house on April 1, 1935. Edward Harnsby was a farmer on a general farm.

1989

On May 1, 1989, W. T. Hornsby was listed as the living son in the obituary of Edmond W Hornsby.

On December 1, 1989, William T Hornsby was listed as the living son in the obituary of Sadie M Hornsby Hornsby.

1995

William Thomas Hornsby, 61, passed away on June 15, 1995.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 1995 at  Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery followed by  burial. Visitation was held from 7 to 8:30 on June 17, 1995 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.

He was a Truck Driver.

Surviving were his sons, William Hornsby Jr. of Elgin; Stanley Hornsby of Rantoul, Ill., and Michael Hornsby of Carpenterville, Ill.; a sister, Willie Mae Hooks of Columbia; four grandchildren.
