Berry Earl Livingston

Born December 19, 1916 in Prosperity, he was a son of the late Berry Mosby Deleal Livingston and Emma Alma Kibler Livingston.

Berry Earl Livingston, 75, of 3331 Monroe St., died Saturday, June 12, 1992.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a graduate of Newberry College and attended Furman university and Duke university. He served in the South Carolina schools for 35 years as an educator and principal, retiring as principal of Blaney Schools. He was also active in Columbia real estate.

Surviving is his wife, Mildred Owens Livingston; sons, Dan Livingston of Wilmington, N. C., and Randy Livingston of Columbia; daughters, Linda Cooksey of Rock hill and Sylvia Linker of Wytheville, Va.; sisters, Mary Boinest of Pomaria, Mosby Ruff of Prosperity, Cathryn Ruff of Newberry and Virginia Counts of Newberry; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held at noon Monday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.today at the funeral home. Memorial smay be made to the Carolina Children’s Home.
