Kershaw County Council Member A. T. “Hammy” Moak has filed for reelection the Republican primary. Moak, 56, is an Elgin native and has operated a restaurant there for 21 years. He and his wife, Diane, have two grown children. Moak first served on the County Council from 1978 to 1979. He was again elected to his at-large seat in 1988.
