Surviving ere his widow, Mrs. Leatha Spradley Watts; daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Diane Blizzard of Wagener and Miss Amy Lousie Watts of the home; sons, Douglas A. Watts of Columbia and Robert “Rocky” Watts of the home; sisters, Mrs. Brenda W. Nash of West Blockton, Ala., and Mrs. Carolyn W. Truesdale, Mrs. Shirley W. Bench and Mrs. Wilma W. Wattts, all of Elgin; and brothers, Robert L. Watts of Jefferson, Earl F. Watts of Lugoff and James H. Watts, Ed M. Watts and Laverne Watts, all of Elgin.
Services were held at 5 p.m, August 28, 1990, at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge.
