She was a lifetime resident of Blaney/Elgin and was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church of Elgin.
Surviving was her daughter, Mrs. Willie Mae Hooks of Columbia; a son, William T Hornsby of Elgin; and sisters, Mrs. Daisy Cook and Mrs. Eva Watts, both of Elgin, and Mrs. Leona Shirley, Mrs. Vera Shirley and Mrs. Mildred Shirley, all of Camden.
