Frank James Rabon Sr

LUGOFF

Frank James Rabon Sr., 80, died Friday.

Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late John Samuel Rabon and Maggie Branham Rabon. He was a retired magistrate of West Wateree, with 20 years of service, and owner and operator of Frank Rabon Grocery.

Mr. Rabon was a member of Woodmen of World, former trustee of Area One schools, Kershaw County, and member of Springvale Baptist Church.

Surviving are his window, Mrs. Nellie Branham Rabon; daughters, Mrs. Eddie (Lelia) McKenzie of Camden and Mrs. Gary (Katie) Pate and Mrs. Bruce (Sandra) Hall of Lugoff; a son, Frank J Rabon Jr. of Lugoff; brothers, Nick, Lee and George Rabon of Lugoff; Sister, Mrs. Annie Branham, Mrs. Janie Barfield, Mrs. Ellerbe Hornsby and Miss Nellie Rabon of Lugoff; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Springvale Baptist Church, Lugoff.

Kornegay Funeral Home of Camden is in charge.
