Neely Catoe Holley

Neely Catoe Holley was born January 24, 1900 in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Richard Catoe and Kate Raley Catoe.

Mrs. Holley, 86, wife of Broadus F. Holley,  of 1604 Benton Circle, died Tuesday December 30, 1986 in Cayce.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Kershaw, a former Training Union teacher and a former member of the Homemakers Club of Kershaw.

Surviving are her husband, daughters, Mrs. Jimmy J. (Barbara) Taylor of Cayce and Mrs. Gordon “Gary” Stumpo of Lake Hurst, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Annie M Brannon of Camden; a brother, C. L. Catoe of Columbia; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 1986 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, conducted by the Rev. Quay Adams. Burial was in the Southland Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Barry Taylor, Larry Taylor and Ronnie Taylor, Gordon Johnson, David Isaacs and Bobby Barefoot.

Memorials may be made to Rukard Nursing Home.
