Mack Ausman Branham, 81, of Elgin, died Monday, July 28, 1986.

Born in Elgin, he was a son of Lawrence Branham and Annie Sharpe Branham.

He was a retired employee of the South Carolina State Hospital and a member and former deacon of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He was married to the late Helen Hornsby Branham.

Surviving were a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Boling (Lillian) of Columbia; a brother, Cranshaw Branham of Elgin; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 1986 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church building fund. The family received friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 1986 at Kornegay Funeral Home. Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.
