Mrs. Esther Goff Branham, 80, of 635 Holland Ave., Cayce, died Tuesday, November 12, 1985.
Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Goff and Elizabeth Albert Goff.
Mrs. Branham was a member of State Street Baptist Church and the Winsome Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Gertrude) Hammond of West Columbia; sons, Rowland Branham of Marietta, Ga., and Alex “Pee Wee” Branham Jr. of West Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Lexie (Zimmie) Moak of Elgin; half sisters, Mrs. Betty Meetze of West Columbia, Mrs. Lillie M Hilderburg of Illinois and Mrs. Pearl Nettles of Elgin; half brothers, Clever Goff, Mendal Goff and Talmadge Goff of Elgin; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Services were held today at State Street Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Pete Cassidy. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy, Mark and Mike Branham, Darryl Hammond, Todd Lindler and Randy Shealy.
Memorials may be made to the State Street Baptist Church or the American Lung Association.
