Kelly rites

Funeral services for Jasper David Kelly were held today at Dunbar Funeral home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. C. Wilson Poston. Burial was in Harmony Baptist Church cemetery at Elgin.

Pallbearers were Clinton Branham, Heyward Craft, Elmer Amick, David Kelly, Carl Kelly, and Robert Kelly and Robert Petty.

Mr. Kelly, 85, of 1216 Florence St., died yesterday.

Born in Blaney, he was a son of the late James Logan Kelly and Lillie Cooper Kelly.

Mr. Kelly was a retired nursing assistant of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

Surviving are four brothers, J. Clyde Kelly and J. Elbert Kelly of Columbia, Julian M. Kelly of White Rock and H Paul Kelly of Blythewood; and a sister, Mrs. Thelma Paulison of Chapin.

Memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, Elgin.
