ELGIN – Mrs. Eunice Hornsby Goff, wife of Henry H. Goff, of Church Street, Elgin, died yesterday at her home. 

Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Hornsby and Jane Cook Hornsby. She was a member of the Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Adult Bible Class.

Surviving are three sons, Mendel Goff, Talmade Goff and Cleve Goff of Elgin; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Nettles of Elgin, Mrs. Betty Meetze of West Columbia and Mrs. Lillie Hilgenberg of Melrose Park, Ill.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Zimmie Moak of Elgin and Mrs. Esther Branham of Cayce; six sisters, Mrs. A. B. Shirley, Mrs. Harold Shirley and Mrs. Rose Shirley of Camden, Mrs. Eva Watts and Mrs. Sadie Hornsby of Elgin and Mrs. Daisy Cook of Columbia; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Plans will be announced by Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia.

Mrs. Eunice H Goff

Mrs. Eunice Hornsby Goff, widow of Henry H. Goff, of Church Street, Elgin, died yesterday at her home. 

Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Hornsby and Jane Cook Hornsby. She was a member of the Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Adult Bible Class.

Goff Rites

Services for Mrs. Eunice Hornsby Goff, will be held at 3 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Revs. Wylie Evans and Bill Coates.

Mrs. Goff, widow of Henry H. Goff, of Church Street, Elgin, died yesterday at her home. 

The famil suggst that those who wish may make memorials to Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church building fund.

Thompson Funeral home of West Columbia is in charge.

Funeral Announcements

Mrs. Goff – Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Hornsby Goff will be held at 3 o’clock THIS (SUNDAY) AFTERNOON in the Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Thurston Goff, Otis Goff, Lonnie Moak, Lexie Moak, Jimmy Goff, Don Watson, Harley Goff, Paul Grooms, Aussie Goff, Preston Goff, H. D. Moak and Eddie Ross. Mrs. Goff will be placed in the church at 2 o’clock.
