Blaney Baptist Church of Elgin was the scene of the 5 p.m. Wedding Saturday of Miss Sylvia DeeAnn Williamson and Carl Timothy Wooten. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Bill Coates, and a reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Williamson, was graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School and attended Columbia College.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Wooten, is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. He is associated with Lem Wooten Construction.

After a wedding trip to the coast,the couple with reside in Elgin.
