St. Andrews Baptist Church was the scene of the noon wedding Saturday of Miss Connie Eugenia Cooper and Philip Jordan Noel, III. The Rev. Fred S. Miller Jr. officiated, and a reception was held at the Town House.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cooper Jr. of Elgin. She is a graduate of Blaney High School and is employed with the architectural firm of Geiger, McElveen, Kennedy, Inc.

The bridegroom, son of Dr. and Mrs. Philip J. Noel, Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., is a graduate of The Citadel. He is employed as an assistant administrator at St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Charleston.
