Blaney Baptist Church, Elgin, was the scene of the 6 p.m. Saturday wedding of Miss Melanie Suelyn Lynch and Richard Clen Suggs. The Rev. Jim Slater officiated, and a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy L. Lynch of Camden, was graduated from Camden High School in 1978 and is emplolyed by Blue Cross/ Blue Sheild.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. James T. Suggs of Elgin, is a 1978 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High High School and is employed by Watteree Builders Inc.
