Mattie Pearl Paschal Goff


Mattie Pearl Paschal Goff was born April 20, 1902 in Blaney, South Carolina, a daughter of C. M. Paschal and Mary Adlee Hodge Paschal.


On March 25, 1933, Pearl May Paschal was mentioned in the newspaper article, MARRIED.


On September 22, 1966, Mrs. Pearl Goff was listed as a living sister in the obituary of Willard V. Paschal.



Mrs. Anderson D. Goff, 76, of Rt. 3, Elgin, died last night in Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Ed. Owens, the Rev. N. D. Sellers and the Rev. Furman Harvey. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Goff, the former Mattie Pearl Paschal, was born in Blaney, a daughter of the late C. M. Paschal and Mary Adlee Hodge Paschal.

She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Goff of Elgin; two sons, Hazel A. Goff of Columbia and Olin H. Goff of Elgin; three foster sons, Dave Smith, Bert Fowler and Marvin Lockhardtall of Columbia; Four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Elizabeth Blanton of Columbia; two brothers, Otis Paschal and Vaughn Paschal of Columbia.

Talbert-Shives funeral home is in charge.
