Funeral services for Wylie Lewis Brazell, 69, of 530 Hillcrest Ave., will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow in Salem Methodist Church. Elgin, conducted by the Rev. Douglas Blackwell and the Rev. Larry Henry. Burial will be in the churchyard.

Mr. Brazell died yesterday.

Pallbearers will be Norman Bowen, Herman Brazell, Norwood McPherson, Malcolm McPherson, J. W. Brazell and Ronnie Brazell.

The casket will be placed in the church at 3 p.m.

Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of the late Wylie Daniel Brazell and Ida Miles Brazell.

He was a member of Salem Methodist Church and a retired carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Sue Johnson Brazell; two sons, Wilbur Brazell and Cecil Brazell, both of Elgin; two brothers, Dewey M. Brazell, Elgin and Osborne O. Brazell, Columbia; and two sisters, Mrs. Docia Bowen, Columbia; and Mrs. Maggie Kirkland, Elgin.

He was a member of Salem Methodist Church and a retired carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Sue Johnson Brazell; two sons, Wilbur Brazell and Cecil Brazell, both of Elgin; two brothers, Dewey M. Brazell, Elgin and Osborne O. Brazell, Columbia; and two sisters, Mrs. Docia Bowen, Columbia; and Mrs. Maggie Kirkland, Elgin.

Plans will be announced by Dunbar Funeral Home. Devine Street Chapel.

MR. BRAZELL – Funeral services for Mr. Wylie Lewis Brazell will be held from Salem Methodist Church at Elgin this (Saturday) afternoon at 3 o’clock.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The casket will be placed in the church at 2 o’clock.
