HASKELL GIBSON

RIDGEWAY – Haskell Gibson, 56, died Monday, August 27, 1973 in a Columbia hospital.

Born in Blaney, he was a son of the late Joe Gibson and Clara Samuel Gibson.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Boykin Gibson; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Woodward, Mrs. Sylvester Thomas, and Misses Rosa Gibson and Eloise Gibson of Ridgeway; three sons, Haskell Gibson, Sherman Gibson and Herman Gibson of Ridgeway; three brothers; John L. Gibson of Ridgeway, Hillard Gibson of Columbia and Elliott Gibson of Elgin; and three sisters, Mrs. Viola Belton of Ridgeway and Misses Lettie Gibson and Josephine Gibson of Columbia.

Services will be 4 p.m. Friday in Rehobeth Baptist Church.

Gibson Funeral Home in Winnsboro is in charge.
