Daisy Susanna Sloan Branham was born on June 16, 1896 in Eastover, Richland County, to Samuel Ledingham Sloan and Laura Harvell Sloan.

Daisy Branham, was counted in the census on 05 Apr 1930 in Wateree, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA, as 32-year-old, female, married, white, wife. Also in the home was her husband, John Branham, their children; Ruth Branham, Leonard Branham, John W. Branham, Ruby L. Branham, and Maude Branham, and her aunt-in-law, Fannie Young.

According to the United States Census recorded on April 5, 1930, John Branham, 38, was the head of household at a rented farm in Wateree Township, in Kershaw County. John was a farmer on a general farm. Also in the home was his wife, Daisy Branham, 32. It was reported that they were married when John was 22 and Daisy was 16, placing their marriage about 1914. Mrs. Daisy Sloan Branham, 76, of Elgin, died Tuesday, October 31, 1972 in Kershaw County Memorial Hospital.

She was the widow of John H Branham.

Surviving were two sons, J. W. Branham, Leonard Branham of Elgin; and four daughters, Mrs. Juanita Coker and Mrs. Ruth Morgan of Elgin, Mrs. Maude Cherry of Winnsboro and Mrs. Leona Pia of Long Island, N. Y.

Plans were announced by Kornegay Funeral Home.

She was buried in the Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery in Elgin.
