SPOKANE, Wash – Mr. and Mrs. Jack L. Nichols announce the engagement of their daughter, Junko Nichols, and Carl Langford Reynolds Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Reynolds of Lugoff.

A Jan. 8 wedding is planned in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ridgeway.

Miss. Nichols was graduated from Columbia Commercial College. She is employed by Farm Credit Banks of Columbia.

Mr. Reynolds was graduated from Blaney High School. He is serving in the Army National Guard.
