According to the United States Census recorded on April 12, 1910, Henry Branham (35) rented a farm in Wateree, Kershaw, South Carolina, with his wife of 10 years, Annie Branham (28), who was reported to be the mother of three children, all still living. Those children were still in the home; Eugene Branham (8), Sallie Branham (5) and Paul Branham (3). All family members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Henry was a farmer.

Eugene Brasham was counted in the census on 06 Jan 1920 in Wateree, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA, as a 19-year-old, male, single, white, son. Also in the home was his father, Henry L Brasham; his mother, Annie Brasham; his siblings, Sallie Brasham and Paul Brasham; and his uncle, Blake B Brasham.

1930 Census Information:

According to the United States Census recorded on April 23, 1930, Elizabeth Thornton (57) owned a home in Wateree, Kershaw, South Carolina. Also in the home was her son, Fate B Thornton (24), and his wife, Alma Thornton (21) and their son Floyd Thornton (3). It was reported that Fate and Alma were married when he was 21 and she was 18. Also in the home was another son of Elizabeth, Knowlton Thornton (14), and her daughter, Almede Branham (29) and son-in-law, Eugene Branham (30). All family members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Fate B was a farmer and Eugene was a mechanic at an auto garage.

1940 Census Information:

According to the United States Census recorded on April 15, 1940, Eugene Leon Branham (40) owned a home in Blaney, Kershaw, South Carolina, with his wife, Almeda Thornton Branham (43). All family members were reported to have been born in South Carolina; Eugene was a Truck Driver with the WPA Road Project.

1951

On April 20, 1951, Eugeme Branham was mentioned as the living son in the obituary of Henry L Branham.

1970

ELGIN – Eugene Branham, 69, died Sunday, August, 9, 1970 in a Camden nursing home.

Mr. Branham was a retired farmer and merchant and was born in Elgin, a son of the late Henry L. Branham and Annie Gladden Branham.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Almeade Thornton Branham; and a sister, Mrs. Edward M. Price of Camden.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August, 11, 1970 at 5 p.m. in Union Baptist Church.

On January 28, 1971, Eugene L. Branham was listed as the deceased husband in the obituary of Mrs. Almeade Thornton Branham.
