‘Geronimo’ Will Run at Blaney

The Blaney Dragstrip will feature a new entry in the world of drag-racing tonight. Running for the first time in the entire southeast will be “Geronimo,” a Pontiac Tempest engineered and owned by the notorious Hubert Platt.

This dynamic piece of machinery will be running against Big Tom Ferrel’s four-speed Plymouth, Jim Collier’s ramcharged Dodge, Henry Easterby’s 427 Fairlane Ford and Engineering Associates’ 426 automatic Dodge.
