Wesley Jago “Jake” Branham


Wesley Jago “Jake” Branham was born June 10, 1902 in South Carolina to Rubin Branham and Amelia Cook Branham.


On October 10, 1962, Jake Branham was listed as a living brother in the obituary of Mrs. George (Mamie Elizabeth) Humphries.


Wesley Jago (Jake) Branham, died Friday, May 22, 1964 at the residence of his brother, Talmadge Branham, after an extended illness.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ellen Mattox and one brother Talmadge Branham, both of Elgin.

Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 1964, from the Salem Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery near Elgin. The body was carried to the residence of his brother at 10:30 a.m. on May 23, 1964.
