Daisy Irene Morgan Cook was born November 22, 1885 in Elgin, Kershaw, South Carolina to Abigie Sanford Morgan and Katheryn McDonald Morgan.

1900

According to the United States census reported on June 1, 1900, Abigie S. Morgan (50) owned a home in Richland County, South Carolina, with his wife of twenty years, Katie Morgan (47), and their children; Cora Morgan (19), Lillie Morgan (17), Daisy Morgan (15), Alvin Morgan (12), Bryant Morgan (9), Lucile Morgan (5) and Ansis Morgan (3), and his mother-in-law, Addie McDonald (60). It was reported the family members were all born in South Carolina. Abigie S. Morgan was a farmer and Katie Morgan was a farm laborer.

1949

On September 5, 1949, Mrs. Daisy Cook was listed as a living daughter in the obituary of Mrs. Katie Morgan.

On August 29, 1955, Mrs. Daisy Cook was listed as a living sister in the obituary of Mrs. Lillie Morgan Miles.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Irene Cook were held March 3, 1964 in Hillcrest Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. George Turbeville, the Rev. William Faircloth and the Rev. Furman Harvey. Interment was in Union Baptist churchyard.

Active pallbearers were David Baldwin, Pearce Baldwin, Preston Davis, Robert Baldwin, Herbert Davenport and R. W. Davis.

Honorary pallbearers were E. C. Potter, Heyward Kelley, A. D. Goff, Ira O. Goff, W. R. Derrick, Thurston Goff, W. D. Watson Sr., Horace Derrick, Otis Goff, Lexie Moak, Dr. Thomas W.
