Mamie Elizabeth Branham Humphries was born May 16, 1895, daughter of Rubin Branham and Amelia Branham.

Funeral services for Mrs. George (Mamie Elizabeth) Humphries, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Branham, who died Tuesday night in the Fairfield County Memorial Hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Harmony Baptist Church, of which she was a member.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Funeral services will be conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Kennedy Rabon: her grandson-in-law, the Rev. Edward N. Taylor: the Rev. W. L. Bagwell and Brother Joseph Nelson.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Mansel Branham of Ridgeway; three sons, Lewis Humphries and George Humphries, Jr., of Ridgeway, and Reuben Humphries of Camden; one sister, Mrs. F. M. Mattox of Blaney; two brothers, Talmadge Branham and Jake Branham of Blaney; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Alvin Mattox, Murdic Branham, George Walker, Alfred Crumpton, Talmadge Branham, Jr., and Albert Humphries, all nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan Newlson, H. C. Peake, Samuel Kelly, Belvin Gerald, Dr. F. L. Culbertson, Dr. R. A. Cockran, and the deacons of the Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church and the Harmony Baptist Church.
The body was to be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mansel Branham, at Ridgeway at 4:30 p.m. today where it will remain until 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
