Bunyan C Sanders, 54, of Rt. 3, Columbia died Wednesday, October 11, 1961.

Survivors included his widow, Mrs. Maggie Sanders of Route 3, Columbia; a stepson, Curtis W. Keith of Columbia; two brothers, C. W. Sanders of Columbia and Joseph A. Sanders of Blaney; one sister, Mrs. John W. Pio of Chester, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bunyan C. Sanders were held Friday afternoon, October 13, 1961 at 2:30 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. H. G. Clayton and the Rev. Mr. Mitchell. Interment followed in the churchyard will full military rites.

Active pallbearers were to be C. B. Davis, R. E. Sanders, Elbert Sanders, John A Davis, Willie Brazell and Arthur Lee.

Honorary pallbearers were to be Lee Peak Sr., T. H. Motley, Ed Campbell, A. B. Nelson, S. B. Perry, Ed Shannon, Owens Grigsby, L. R. Sanders, Sidney Heath, Donald Watson, Sr., Leslie Moak, F. W. Dennies, D. F. Martin, Fred Martin, A. L. Jacobs, Everette Stockman, Otta Hornsby, Roy Hornsby, Eugene Jacobs and Earl Jacobs.

Pallbearers met at the funeral home at 2:20 p.m.
