Charlotte Elizabeth Ross Goff, was born March 25, 1900 to Jesse Thomas Ross and Nancy Elizabeth Goff Ross.
1910 Census Information:
According to the 1910 United States Census recorded on April 15, 1910; Jussee Ross (34) owned a farm in Wateree Township in Kershaw County, with whom he shared with his wife of fourteen years, Nannie Ross (34). Nannie reported that she was the mother of seven children, six of whom were still living. Also in home were their children; Elerby Ross (13), Charlotte Ross (11), Willoby Ross (9), William Ross (9), Monnie Ross (6) and Beattrice Ross (7 months old). All of the household members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Jussee was a merchant of a general mercantile.
1920 Census Information:
According to the 1920 United States Census recorded on January 6, 1920; Jessie T Ross (43) owned a home in Wateree Township in Kershaw County, with whom he shared with his wife, Nannie Ross. Also in home were their children; Charlotte Ross (18), Willis Ross (17), Willoughby Ross (17), Monnie Ross (15) and Beatrice Ross (10) and Jessie T. Ross, Jr. (4). All of the household members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Three of the family member reported as being employed, Jessie was a farmer on a general farm, Willis and Willoughby were salesmen at a grocery store.

Funeral Services will be conducted in Blaney Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday for Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth Goff, 61, of Blaney, who died in a local hospital Friday, August 18, 1961 after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Goff, widow of John Arthur Goff, lived in Blaney and Columbia her entire life. She was a member of Blaney Baptist Church.
Survivors include her stepmother, Mrs. Georgia W. Ross of Marietta; two sons, T. L. Goff and E. R. Goff of Columbia; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Durst of Aiken; two step-sons, E. C. Goff of Florence and H. A. Goff of Columbia; a step-daughter, Mrs. Felton Butler of Columbia; four brothers, E. H. Ross and Willerbe W. Ross of Cayce, Willis W. Ross of West Columbia and J. T. Ross Jr. of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Leonard Hamlin of Columbia and Mrs. Herbert Campbell of Blaney; six grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 1961, from Blaney Baptist Church by her pastor, the Rev. Dean Clyde and the Rev. George Partridge.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Ross Jr., Kenny Ross, Claude Campbell, Lexie Moak, Fred Ross and Floyd Branham. They will meet at 2:50 p.m. at the church
The body is at Thompson Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of E. R. Ross, 2439 N Beltline Blvd.
