New Grange Is Organized in Blaney Area

A new Grange, West Wateree, has been organized in the Blaney area to serve the people of West Wateree section of Kershaw County, according to C. E. Young, district deputy of the State Grange.

Twelve members signed up at the first meeting and voted to keep the membership rolls open through July 11. The next regular meeting of the group will be Tuesday, August 1, at 8 p.m., in the agriculture department of Blaney High School. Meetings thereafter will be held on the first Tuesday night of each month.

Officers of the grange are L. W. Stover, master; Paul Ross, Jr., lecturer; Otis Goff, treasure; Leslie Moak, overseer; and Leo D Ross, secretary.

Those interested in becoming members of the grange may contact Stover or any other officer.
