BLANEY — C. E. Young, district deputy of the State Grange, announced Sunday that a new grange, West Wateree, had been organized in the Blaney area to serve the people of the West Wateree section of Kershaw County.
Officers of the Grange are: L. W. Stover, master; Paul Ross, Jr., lecturer; Otis Goff, treasure; Leslie Moak, overseer; and Leo D Ross, secretary.
New members have voted to keep the membership rolls open through July 11 so that people in the area may join as charter members.
The next regular meeting of the grange will be held Tuesday, August 1, at 8 p.m. in the Agriculture Department of the Blaney High School.
