Mary Jane Moak Livingston, 77, of Rt. 3, Columbia died at her residence on April 6, 1961 after an extended illness.
She had been a resident of Columbia for four months, and was the widow of James David Livingston. Mrs. Livingston was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
Surviving were a daughter, Miss Mary Livingston, Columbia; two sons, Francis Livingston Sr., Eastover, and William W. Livingston, Columbia; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 7, 1961 at 2:30 p.m. in the McLeod Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ray Cloer and the Rev. Bob Rowe. Interment will be in Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Leslie Moak, Lexie Moak, Lonnie Moak, Elmer Moak, Francis Livingston.
Honorary pallbearers will be J. H. Campbell, Clyde Craft, Lewis Wilson, Robert Tucker, J. R. Davis, Thomas (Jack) Wilson, H. P. Tyson, Armond Snead, Tom Corley, Franklin Drawdy, Curtis Drawdy, Dave Jefferies, Marion Torrence, C. B. Boyne, Johnny Munn, John Wilson, Ed Campbell, Walter Wilson, and Tom Wilson.
Active and honorary pallbearers met at the church at 2:30 p.m.. The body was at Dunbar Funeral Home.
