Pentecostal Meetings Set Monday

The annual camp meeting of the Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith will begin Monday, Aug. 22 and continue through Aug. 28 at the Bethel Campgrounds in Blaney.

The guest speaker for the 7:30 service each evening will be the Rev. H. P. Robinson is superintendent of the lower South Carolina Conference of Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The annual Free Will Baptist Ladies Auxiliary Conference will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 9:30 a.m. There will be a special Auxiliary Workshop conducted by Mrs. Ray Rumsey and Mrs. H. P. Robinson.

The annual conference of the Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 25-26. The conference superintendent, the Rev. Rumsey of Florence, will deliver the “State of the Conference” address to the ministers and delegates at 11 a.m Thursday.

The Rev. B. E. Ellis, South Carolina State Overseer of the Church of God, will preach a special message to the ministers and delegates at 11 a.m. Friday.

One of the main attractions of the Annual Camp meeting is the Sunday Singspiration, held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the final Sunday of Camp each year (Sunday, Aug. 28) will feature quartlets, trios, duets, and church groups from various parts of South Carolina. North Carolina, and Georgia.

The Bethel Campground is located on U. S. Highway 1 at Balney. The public is invited.
