Clinical Pastoral Class to Graduate

Students in the second clinical pastoral training course of the South Carolina Baptist Hospital will be graduated in special exercises this evening at the Kilbourne Park Baptist Church here.

The graduates complete the six-weeks training course this week.

Dr. Horace G. Hammett, the assistant executive secretary-treasurer of the Baptist State Convention, will bring the featured address and diplomas will be presented by Hospital Administrator W. A. Boyce, Hospital Chaplain George F. Bowdler and the Rev. Leslie W. Edwards, pastor of the Kilbourne Park Baptist Church, also will participate in the program.

Graduates include the Rev. William F. Doverspike, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church of Gaston, the Rev. August A. Page of the Congaree Baptist Church of West Columbia, the Rev. Harland J. Alban, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Gaston, the Rev. Dewey Cockrell, pastor of the Pine Grove Baptist Church of Lugoff, and the Rev. Furman Harvey, pastor of the Hillcrest Baptist Church of Blaney.
