Otto E Hornsby Jr

Otto E Hornsby Jr was born August 5, 1945 to  Otto Ernest Hornsby and Katherine Wages Hornsby.

Otto H Hornsby, Jr.,13, of Rt. 2. Blaney, who was killed in a motor-scooter accident Tuesday (June 16, 1959). The youth, a Dentsville School student, was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Sunday School at Blaney.

Funeral services were held this afternoon (June 18, 1959) at 5 o’clock this afternoon from Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Marvin Cannon and the Rev. Furman Harvey. Burial will be in the churchyard. 

Surviving were his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Otto H. Hornsby, Sr., of Rt. 2 Blaney; four brothers, Donald W Hornsby of Savannah, Ga., Rodney Hornsby of Blaney, Clark W Hornsby and Stephen M Hornsby, all of Blaney; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G S Wages (Cora Bell Meetze Wages) of Lugoff; and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. M H Hornsby of Blaney.

Active pallbearers will be W T Hornsby, Larry Branham, Richard Branham, Willard Branham, Alvin Branham, Larry Nelson and Billie Koon.

Honoray pallebearers will be Cranshaw Branham, Claude Campbell, Willard Coker, Talmage Goff, Flem Ross, O. M. Jacob, J. R. Hornsby, Otis Goff, Mendall Goff, Thurston Goff, B C Ross, Sr., and C E Young.

The body will be moved from Paschal Funeral Home at 11 o’clock this morning to the residence.
