Eva Mae Easler Sanders was born August 22, 1898 in Kershaw County, South Carolina, a daughter of James Easler and Alice Gardner Easler.

Eva Mae Easler Sanders, 57, of Two Notch Road, died Friday, January 20, 1956 in the Columbia Hospital. She had lived in Columbia for the past ten years. She was a member of the Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church in Blaney.

Survivors were two sons, Herbert W. Sanders and Brunson A. Sanders, both of Columbia; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Churchwell of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Arlie Branham of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Susie Windham of Columbia; and two brothers, Lowie Easler of Winnsboro and Joe Easler of Lugoff.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sanders were conducted at 2:30, January 22, 1956 from the Highway Church in Blaney by the Rev. W. L. Evans, pastor. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be J. B. Johnson, J. E. Holland, O. L.  Hyatt, G. D. Dennis Jr., R. L. Todd, and Ollie Ray. They met at 1:15 at McCormick Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Leon J. Khoury, J. W. Glasser, Edward Glasser, J. J. Germany, D. M. Taylor, J. T. Butler, Garry Goff, Leslie Moak, Lexie Moak and Deacons of the Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. They met at 2:20 at the Church.
