BLANEY, Dec. 9 – (Special) – Horace Clifford Baucom, 67, died at his home at 9 o’clock this morning after an illness.
Born in Pageland, N. C., the son of the late John W Bausom and Mary Lulu Redfern Bausom, he traveled a number of years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Corrie McIntyre Baucom of Blaney; one daughter, Mrs. Henry B. Smith of Blaney; one son, H. C. Baucom, Jr., U. S. Navy; three sisters, Mrs. W. M. McQuay of Raleigh, N. C., Mrs. G. F. Draughan of Dunn, N. C. and Mrs. J. S. Hailey of Montgomery, Ala., and two brothers, George Baucom of the State of Washington and Walter Baucome of the State of Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. E. L. Farmer. The funeral cortège will leave from the Kornegay Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m.
