Blythewood, Jan. 4- Blythewood high’s boys defeated Blaney, 38-25- here tonight for their third win in seven starts after the girls had turned back the Blaney sextet, 42-28, in the preliminary to make their record five wins and one tie.

George Jones paced the winning boys’ offensive attack with 16 points. Warren Brown was high scorer for the losers with eight.

In the preliminary, Peggy Nelson made 30 of her team’s total point for high honors for the evening. Vivian Campbell led Blaney with 16 points.
