Funeral services for Tallie Goff, 52, of Blaney, will be held Wednesday at 11 a. m. at the Highway Pentecostal Holiness church near Pontiac, by the Rev. A. L. Woods and the Rev. Leo Edwards. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He died at 1:30 a.m. today at the home J. L. Moak, in Blaney, following an illness of several days. He was a member of Union Baptist church.
He had lived in Blaney all his life where he was a farmer. For the past 15 years he had made his home with his cousin, J. L. Moak.
Survivors included a brother, Irbie K. Goff, a sister, Mrs. Sallie E Tucker, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Otis Goff, Thurston Goff, J. P. Goff, Lexie Moak, A. C. Goff, and James Goff.
Honory pallbearers will be John R. Tucker, J. D. Bailey, J. W. Moak, W. L. Miles, J. W. Watson and D. G. McLeod.
All pallbearers will meet at 10:45 at the church. The body is at Thompson Funeral home.
Tallie Goff of Blaney Dies
Tallie Goff, 52, of Blaney died at 1:30 Monday morning at the home of his cousin, J. L. Moak, in Blaney, following an illness of several days.
Mr. Goff had lived in Blaney all his life. He was farmer. For the past 15 year he had made his home with Mr. Moak.
Survivors included a brother, Irbie K. Goff, a sister, Mrs. Sallie E Tucker, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning from Pentecostal Holiness church conducted by the Rev. A. L. Woods and the Rev. Leo Edwards. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Otis Goff, Thurston Goff, J. P. Goff, Lexie Moak, A. C. Goff, and James Goff.
