BATESBURG, October 13 – (UP) – A safe removed from a home here last week has been returned to its owner today but its contents of $2,800 are reported missing.

The safe was carted away from the home of Calvin Warren. It was found in a wooded area near Blaney, but it is said to have been pried open and its contents removed.
